It’s no surprise that colors, prints and florals took over the denim scene in Spring 2012. Not sure what you can expect for Fall 2012? Here’s a sneak peak of a few styles that you should look out for next season:
- Textures: In addition to various washes, pay attention to the texture of your jeans. There are numerous options to choose from next season including coated, velvet, and quilted. Gone are the days where jeans only meant denim!
- Prints: Printed jeans are still going to be big but instead of florals, think brocades and paisley!
- Subdued Colors: To match the transformation in seasons, bright colors which were a hit in the earlier half of the year are going to be replaced with darker hues such as cognac, burnt orange, aubergine, jade, and chocolate brown.
- J Brand Houlihan: Although J Brand introduced this jean in for Summer 2012, it’s going to be equally big, if not bigger, towards the end of the year. Some of the washes, such as the Vintage Mulberry, are especially fall-appropriate & we won’t be surprised if J Brand releases the style in more fall colors!
What style are you most looking forward to wearing in Fall?
