Denim Story at Coterie!

Ah, Coterie! One of the world’s biggest trade shows, this is where all the denim business happens. Aside from not knowing which booth to visit first (they were all so lovely!), we had a great time being there in the midst of all the people with such talent and creativity.

Coterie this season was one of the best we’ve ever seen. Bigger than ever before, it’s the best place to scout for new labels – those which are the Next Big Thing. Showcasing their latest collections and Fall trends were the biggest names in denim – J Brand,  Hudson, Paige, Goldsign, AG Jeans, and True Religion amongst many others.

We were particularly intrigued by Hudson this season. They have a fabulous tuxedo jean with a neon strips down the side – how modern and fresh is that! Think glamour, think glow in the dark, think fluorescent - think Hudson. Even their booth was decked up in neon tape by artist Aakash Nihalani. Needless to say, we were impressed!

We predict that the relatively new brand DL1961 is going to be huge in the coming seasons. They tweeted (and we wholeheartedly agree, as we were obsessed too!) :

Paige had a few surprises up its sleeve – an absolutely fabulous and unique collection of printed jeans. They are even bringing back polkadots! Check out their tweets and instagram pictures from Coterie below:

The Denim Story team is always looking to introduce to India new finds and chic jeans – which of the above looks would you like to see in your wardrobe?
